![]() We did have popcorn which was cold by the time we got it to our car, can't say anything for the other food. We left after the first show very disappointed. there are rules on this but no one from the theater did anything. That was short lived when a van pulled up in front of us and one child crawled up on the roof and others went in and out with the interior light staying on for minutes at a time. The marquee listed two children's movies which looked as though they were on one screen but it turned out they were on two separate screens, and to add to the ambiance there were porta potties lined up by the bathrooms.Įven though we were certainly not impressed by the changes we hoped for the best with the movie. The speakers had been removed and you were required to either use your car radio or rent something. Where once there was a large lot for parking the space was now divided into spaces for three screens rather than the two that had been there on our last visit. The changes in the way the theater was run was evident as soon as we went entered. I remember the US 23 Drive-in Theater with fondness and it was with great anticipation that we went again this last summer after a couple of years absence. ![]() I am sorry not to write a good review because I love going to the drive-in, sitting under the stars, and I believe that the US 23 Drive-in is the only drive-in theater in our area. we might as well stop paying for a crappy experience and let the drive in die. So you tell me, with an experience like this common as I talk to my friends how long will we keep this drive in open. No one was forced to leave, none of these issues should be happening in a decent movie theater. GUESS WHAT she smelled it and announced out loud every step of the way that she was trying to find the source. So I asked to speak to the manager who never came out to see me instead sent the girl out to smell for herself. Walk into the concession stand to be informed by a young lady 17ish that no security is onsite today. I tried to tolerate the ignorance, but finally had to get someone when me and my son where dry heaving over the smell. AND WAIT FOLKS it gets better people smoking pot when the wind is blowing away from them into my family's direction. Or how about the cell phone conversations you can hear during the movie three rows over. Then there was the people that brought there infants to watch, I mean destroy the movie for everyone else as they left there van door open for all to hear the crying. Try watching a movie with red lights in your eyes. And how about the dumb*** in front of me that kept turning his lights on the screen and kept his foot on the brake petal for a lot of the movie. Then the people that continuously flash there lights at the screen as if they are in a rock concert. Now lets address all the people that come in with there lights on while you are watching the movie. Because so many people ignored this, people where constantly driving around to find a place to park, after they have already paid. ![]() First lets start with all the rude people that come in and completely ignore all rules to park by the pole, and keep chairs in front of your vehicle.(this is stated in the rules and every 30 seconds on the radio). All I have to say is WOW this place has to be the central trash hang out of flint. We visited on 4/18/15 to watch fast and furious and leave. ![]()
